Free bus passes

Please pass this on to as many people as possible.

Every council in the country has discretion to give bus passes out to disabled people to let them travel free plus one P.A./supporter/Carer.

Some people need more than one person to support them, at the moment the second person will have to be paid for. This is indirect discrimination.

In Hull the local M.P. contacted secretary of state, who has informed every council that they have the discretion to issue a bus pass that can enable two carers to travel for free with the person they are supporting.

People need to approach their local councils and request they use their discretion.
