Disabled Children’s Charter for Health and Wellbeing

Every Disabled Child Matters and The Children’s Trust, Tadworth have launched a Disabled Children’s Charter for Health and Wellbeing Boards.

Health and Wellbeing Boards are important new bodies that play a key role in the new health system, bringing together leaders from across health and social care to work together to improve the health and wellbeing of their local population and reduce health inequalities. The Charter asks Health and Wellbeing Boards to meet 7 commitments to improve the services provided to disabled children and their families and to work in partnership with them to do so.

Send an email to your Health and Wellbeing Board and urge them to sign the Charter: http://e-activist.com/ea-action/action?ea.client.id=6&ea.campaign.id=19822
